Issuing Body
The New Bern Historical Society was founded in 1923 by a group of Craven County citizens, and is incorporated as a non-profit organization that owns and operates the Attmore-Oliver House Museum, the Battle of New Bern Battlefield Park, the All Saints Chapel at 809 Pollock Street, and the Attmore-Oliver House. The Attmore-Oliver House is a home built in 1790, which reflects a combination of both 18th and 19th century architecture, and displays Civil War memorabilia, a unique doll collection, and exhibits of local historical interest.
