Description
Robert Brown was probably born ca. 1755 in the state of Virginia. He married Catherine (surname unknown) ca. 1768 in Virginia. By the year 1790, he moved with his family to Elbert Co., Georgia. Robert was the father of eight children and received many land grants in Georgia. He died in or before July 1801 in Elbert Co., Georgia. Descendants lived primarily in Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio and elsewhere.
