Johann Jacob Krauss (1726-1793) and his family immigrated in 1752 from the Palatinate of Germany to Lunenberg, Nova Scotia. Descendants and relatives lived in Nova Scotia and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Massachusetts and elsewhere.
