Adam Jordan (1785-1861, son of Jacob Jordan and Mary Ann Shriver, moved from Virginia to Noble County, Ohio and married Anna Maple. Descendants lived in Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and elsewhere.
