Description
Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Bright and Upchurch families, many of whom came from the United Kingdom. Some focus is on (but not limited to) limited to) the families related to Thomas Franklin Bright and his second wife, Sarah Louella (Ella) Upchurch. Thomas also had a child by Minnie Millican, his first wife. Some earlier ancestors came from the United Kingdom, and settled in North and South Carolina in the 1700's. George's Upchurch family was one of the first to settle Fentress County, Tennessee, which was part of Wayne County, Kentucky, ca. 1810. George and his wife Rachel came from Virginia to North Carolina before 1790. Some of their family later lived in Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas. later descendants of these and other Upchurch and Bright progenitors also lived in Alberta and Nova Scotia (Canada), and in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Flordia, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and elsewhere in the United States and Canada.
