Description
Two Crain brothers emigrated about 1700 from Wales to North Carolina. John Crain (fl.1750-1762), a son of one of the two immigrants, had various sons who served in the Revolutionary War, and at least the last two if these sons were born in Granville County, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives also lived in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, New Mexico and elsewhere.
