"Thomas Holland served in the American Revoloution from Virginia. ... [He] married Phoebe Rickman before 1779."--P. 17, 20. Their granddaughter Nancy Ann Holland (1817-1853), daughter of son John Rickman and Elizabeth Walker Holland, married Henry Lyda Jackson (1810-1880), son of John and Eave Still Jackson on 13 October 1835. Born in Putnam County, Georgia, Ann died in Gatesville, Coryell County, Texas where the family had moved in 1852. Henry Lyda Jackson was born in Rutherford County, North Carolina and died in Ellis County, Texas. After the death of his first wife Ann, Henry married Mary Presley on 24 December 1853. Descendants and relatives lived in Texas, Arkansas, North Carolina, California, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia and elsewhere.
