Description
John Reames and his wife, Alice, of Virginia, were probably the immigrant ancestors the Reams/Reames family. They had at least four sons. Descendants of their sons: Thomas Reames (d. 1773), of Amelia County, Virginia; Edward Reames (ca. 1715-after 1795) of Dinwiddie County, Virginia; and William Reams (ca. 1720-1794) of Northampton County, North Carolina, lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, Oregon, California, and elsewhere.
