Description
John Kniseley, Sr. (1773-1853) and Catharine/Katherine Imler (1782-1847) were married in 1800. They had eight sons and seven daughters. Christopher Wells (d. 1813) married twice. The surname of his first wife was Strides. Ann Oxworth was his second wife. Eleven of his twenty-one children were hers. Solomon Kniseley married Eliza Jane Wells. Other descendants intermarried extensively. Descendants llived in Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Iowa, Florida, North Carolina, Illinois and elsewhere.
