Description
Stephen Clason (b.ca1625) in Scotland and died in 1699 at Stamford, Conn. He married Elizabeth Perriment (1631-1714) at Stamford. Family tradition infers that he and his brother left Scotland for France. Later, the brother returned to Scotland and Stephen came to America. The Clason's raised several children. One descendant, Micheal Boomhour Clason (b.1815) was the son of James Clason of Goshen, Orange Co., New York. His son James Buchanan Clason (1857- 1939) was born at Beaver Dam, Clason Prairie, Dodge Co., Wisconsin. Descendants live in Washington, Montana, California and elsewhere.
