Descendants of Ambjorn Peterson Urness (1821-1907), born in Hafslo Parish, Sogn og Fjordane County, Norway, a son of Peder Olsen Plassen (Urness) and Elizabeth Ambjornsdatter Ronnei. He married Oline Johannesdatter Molland (1824-1907) in 1853 in Hafslo Parish, Norway. They emigrated from Norway in 1856 and settled in Wisconsin. They had two children born to them in Norway, seven born in Iowa Co., Wisconsin. Descendants live in Wisconsin, Missouri, Minnesota, Illinois, California, Washington and elsewhere.
