Periodical for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Moore (and variant spellings) families who came from Austria, England, Germany, Great Britain, Holland, Ireland, the Isle of Malta, the Isle of Man, Italy, Lithuenia, Prussia, Russia, Scotland, Switzerland, Turkey, and the West Indies. Some immigrated to Massachusetts and New York in the 1600's. In the 1700's, some settled in Connecticut, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. During the 1800's, some moved to New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec (Canada), and to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and Vermont. Later descendants also lived in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Minnesota, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and elsewhere. Some have African American bloodlines. Information is extracted from Bible records, biographies, birth records, cemetery records, census records, church records, court records, deeds, histories, land grants, military records, mortality schedules, naturalization records, newspapers, orphan records, passenger lists, pensions, probate records, tax records, and other sources. Years covered are the 1600's-1900's.
