Description
Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Smith families who came mainly from Ireland. Some allied families came from Scotland. In the 1600's, some immigrated to Connecticut. In the 1700's, some settled in Kentucky, Massachusetts, and Virginia. During the 1800's, some moved to Arkansas, California, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. Later descendants also lived in Illinois, Michigan, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and elsewhere. Information is taken from local, county, state, and federal sources, census records, and vital records. Other information is taken from published works providing genealogical data and family history about various localities and families.
