Original settler: Nicolaus Schmidt (b. 1732), wife Anna, Lutheran faith, barrel-maker from Franken, Wienheim place, arrived in Oranienbaum (not far from St. Petersburg) on June 18, 1766 by the ship Man and Woman, arrived in Warenburg colony, Russia on May 12, 1767.
