Description
Alexander Heinrich I von Ohlhausen (1771-1825), son of Johann Conrad I von Ohlhausen and Christina Catharina Schwarz, married twice and immigrated in 1817 from Germany (via The Netherlands) to Philadelphia settling in Bedford County, Virginia. He anglicized his name to Henry A. Ohlhausen. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, Louisiana, Texas, California and elsewhere. Includes many ancestors and some of their descendants in Germany.
