Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Van Buskirk families in America. Focus is on descendants of Laurens Andriessen Van Buskirk and Jannetje Jans (Barentsen), who married in 1658. During the 1600's and 1700's, their descendants lived mainly in New Jersey, New York and Delaware. Laurens died in 1694, and Jannetje died in 1692, both in New Jersey. Some descendants also lived in Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Ontario (Canada), and in California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin in the 1700-1800's. Later families also lived in Colorado, Florida, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, and elsewhere in the United States and Canada.
