Description
John Beard (1785-ca. 1857) married Elizabeth Miller and they had 14 children, 9 of whom lived to maturity. Ira Howard Beard (1865-1933) was the son of Adam Beard (1828-1904) and Mary Sheets/Sheffer? Beard (1831-1904) and the grandson of John and Elizabeth. In 1886, he and Mary "Lydia" Kreisher (1866-1935) were married. She was the daughter of Selby and Margaret Thompson Kreisher also of Clinton Co., Ind.
