This transcript is of v. 8 (plus an index to v. 8) of manuscript collection cataloged under: Family history, 1877-1925 / Josiah V. Thompson, Uniontown, Pa.. This library has 16 microfilms of the manuscript collection in 28 volumes and many loose leaves at end (apparently the manuscript collection is not indexed, although the cataloging compensates somewhat for this lack).

Description
Genealogical family record book, early Sept. 1922 to late December 1922, kept by Josiah V. Thompson of Uniontown, Pennsylvania. The family record book contains diary entries of the author, as well as records of his conversations with family members and friends about ancestry, descendants and relatives. Many of the entries record genealogical data from tombstones and cemetery records.
