Description
George Peter Frye I (1726-1793) was the son of John Peter Frye and Catherine French of Augusta Co., Virginia. He married (1) Margaret Scott in Augusta Co. in 1745 and (2) Annie Abbott Johnson (d.1813) in 1787. He was the father of five children: Mary, Susanna, Catherine, George Peter II and Barbara Jane. His son George Peter II (1755-1818) married (1) Keziah Mowrey and (2) Betsy Long, daughter of Isaac Long of Augusta Co., VA. They were the parents of six children. Their son George Peter Fry III (1775-1850) married Mary Ann Johnston in 1799 and (2) Polly Cleary in 1817. Several generations of descendants are given.
