Description
Jacob Sechrist was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in 1802, the son of Jacob Sechrist. He married Susannah Brenneman, daughter of John Brenneman. They had eleven children, who lived to maturity, 1824-1848, six born in Pennsylvania and the other five in Ohio. He died in Wayne County, Ohio, in 1881. Descendants lived in Ohio, Kansas, and elsewhere.
