Description
Jonathan Calkins Wright was born November 29, 1808 in Rome, Oneida Co., New York, son of Peter Bice Wright and Elizabeth Shead. He married first Rebecca Wheeler ca. 1838. She was the daughter of David Wheeler. She died May 1850 in Council Bluffs, leaving Jonathan with four children. He married second Mary Jane Neeley in 1852. She was the daughter of Louis Neeley and Elizabeth Miller. He had a total of seven wives and was the father of thirty-four children. He died November 8, 1880 in Brigham City, Utah.
Description
Mary Jane Neeley was born October 8, 1833 in Vermillion County, Illinois, daughter of Lewis Neeley and Elizabeth Miller. When Mary Jane was nineteen years of age she married Jonathan Calkins Wright on February 25, 1852. She and Jonathan had twelve children. She died in 1909.
