Description
Peter Fletcher Thornburgh was born in Morgan County, Indiana, the son of Benjamin and Susannah Thornburgh. He was a pioneer country doctor, minister, teacher, soldier, and farmer. He died in 1912.
Description
Caroline E. Doughty, from Orwell, Vermont, came to Indiana as a teacher. She married Amos Thornburg in Maritnsville, Indiana, in 1854. She died in 1876 leaving three sons.
