Description
Susan Eliza Merry was born near Miland, Ohio, in 1848, the daughter of George A. Merry. Her family moved to a farm in Steuben County, Indiana, when she was a girl. She married Giles R. Beard in 1864. They moved to Nebraska for a while and then returned to Indiana. They had six sons and a daughter. She died at Muncie, Indiana, in 1913. She was preceeded in death by her husband. Her children lived in Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, at the time to her death.
