Description
George Gordon (b. ca 1700) and his two brothers, Adam and Alexander, emigrated about 1730 from near Kenmore Castle, Scotland, to northern Virginia. They then settled in Carlisle, Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania, and later moved to Shady Grove, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Maryland and elsewhere.
