Description
James McLarty was born 27 May 1827 in County Antrim, Ireland. He immigrated to America ca. 1850 and on the 24 January 1862 married Ann Ervin in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. By 1863, they migrated to the United States and lived in Michigan prior to their settlement in Iowa. They were the parents of ten children. Descendants lived primarily in Iowa and elsewhere.
