Some of the descendants of Andreas Krauß (ca. 1620-aft. 1680) of Waldhausen, in Mittelfranken. One of Andreas' descendants, Johann Georg Krauß (1770-1828), had several children who emigrated from Germany to the United States and settled in Michigan.
