Description
John Zahn (1818-1889) immigrated about 1836 from Reisch, Bavaria, Germany to Martic (later Providence) Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He married (1) Ann Bleacher (1815-1861) and then (2) widow Margaret (Northamer) Dubree (1833-1930), whose son by John Dubree, named Elmer Ellsworth Dubree, was raised as part of the Zahn household. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Ohio, Missouri, Kansas, California and elsewhere.
