A genealogy and a history of the Bert family who are descendants of Peter Bert born 26 Feb 1812 in Rohrbach, Hesse, Germany. He married 1) 15 Sep 1836 Elizabeth Sollenberger (1805-1838) ; 2) 12 Sep 1839 Maria Hoover (1816-1844) ; 3) 19 Dec 1846 Anna Hoover (1824-1863) ; and 4) Katherine Nisley (1819-1896). He died 10 Jan 1880 in Dickinson Co., Kansas.
