Description
The earliest known ancestor, Henry Broadt/Bright (ca. 1772-1838), arrived in western Pennsylvania ca. 1797 presumably from Bedford, Pa. He was a Dunkard (similar to Mennonite faith) of German ancestry. He died in Harmonsburg, Pa. Ida May Bright (1896-1949), daughter of Franklin Pierce Bright and Lydia May Snyder, was born in Meadville, Pa. and died in Santa Barbara, Calif. She married Paul W. Stillman (1891-1955) 1915 in Akron, Ohio. He was also born in Meadville. Pa.
