Description
Christian Weber (1833-bef. 1877), son of Christian Weber and Elisabeth Bauer, was born in New-Freudental, Russia. He married Dorothea Brost (Brosz) (1835-1890), daughter of Michael Brost and Katharina Leiz, in 1852. Dorothea married (2) Peter Seydel ca. 1890 in Yankton, South Dakota. After her husband's death, Dorothea immigrated to America in 1877 with her children. They settled in Yankton, South Dakota. Dorothea was born Wurtemberg, Germany. She had ten children, who were all born in Dennewitz, Bessarabia, Russia. Six children died in Bessarabia prior to 1877. Family members live in South Dakota, North Dakota, California, Michigan, Oregon, Washington, Canada and elsewhere.
