Judge Obey Harper (1873-1941) was born in Hart County, Georgia, son of James Willis Harper (1840-1914) and Susan Francis Adams (1838-1908), both of Georgia. Mary Estelle Davis (1877-1963) was born in Hart County, Georgia, daughter of James Asa Davis (1846-1907) and Sarah Catherine McCurry (1849-1914). Descendants lived in Georgia, Ohio, and elsewhere. Includes McCurry family of Scotland and Georiga; Gilpins of England and Pennsylvania; Eavensons of Wales, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and other related families.
