Description
Johannes Hunsicker (ca.1710-1800) married Maria Magdaelna Bierre in 1743, and in 1748 the family immigrated from Rauweiller, Switzerland to Philadelphia. The family settled in what became Heidelberg Township of Bucks (later Northampton, now Lehigh) County, Pennsylvania. Johannes and five of his sons served in the Revolutionar War. Descendants and relatives lived in pennsylvsania and elsewhere. Includes some family history and genealogical data about Hunsicker origins to 822 A.D. in Switzerland.
