Description
Pastor Reichert was a Lutheran pastor in Indiana and Armstrong counties and a missionary in Clarion, Mercer, Clearfield, Crawford, Jefferson, Venango and Huntington counties in western Pennsylvania. In 1822 he was appointed a traveling missionary to western Pennsylvania and established a missionary base in Indiana County. He returned to Philadelphia through several New York counties. In 1827 he moved his missionary base to Kittanning in Armstrong County. In 1837 he served in Philadelphia and in 1855 returned to Armstrong County where he died in 1877 [information from translation by Paul Miller Ruff].
