Issuing Body
The Duncan Association, also known as the Duncan Surname Association, was founded in 1990, by W. A. "Wes" Duncan (1930-2003), and others. Its purpose was to assist researchers seeking Duncan ancestors who came to the United States before 1850. Mary Ann Duncan Dobson contributed her extensive research files, and Wes organized them, managed them, and made the information available by exchange. The Association has headquarters at Tecumseh, Kansas. After July 2002, the periodical is published only on the Internet, except for a special memorial issue, dated November 2004, in honor of W.A. "Wes" Duncan. For more information, see their web site.
