Description
Descendants of James Henry Bynum (1860-1935), who was born in Calhoun, Gordon Co., Georgia and died in Harrisburg, Saline Co., Illinois. He was the son of William Henry Adair Bynum and Elizabeth Niecley (Nicely). He married Elizabeth Agnes Murray (1863-1917) 1884 in Stonefort, Saline Co., Ill. Descendants of William A. Murphy (Purdom) (ca. 1864-1928), who was born in Louisville, Marshall Co., Ky., the son of William Allen M. Murphy (Purdom) and Mary E. Ashburton. He married Elizabeth Pankey (1867-1943), daughter of Thomas H. Pankey and Louisa Elvira Carner, 1884 in Stonefort. Descendants live in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee and elsewhere. Includes mainly family group sheets and pedigree charts.
