Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Baird (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England, Ireland, Normandy, and Scotland. Some Scottish ancestors were associated with the Auchmedden Clan. Some immigrated to America from ca. 1637 to the early 1800's, and settled early in Nova Scotia, Ontario, and New Brunswick (Canada), Australia, New Zealand, and in Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. During the 1800's, some moved to Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas. Later descendants also live in Alberta, and British Columbia (Canada), England, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Jamaica (West Indies), Lebanon, Scotland, Spain, throughout all the United States, including Washington D.C. Also includes "Flowers of the Forest," which is the Scottish equivelent of obituaries for contemporary members.
