Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Shelby (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England, France, Ireland, and Wales. Many were Huguenots. Some branches may or may not be related. Some settled in Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia in the 1700's. During the 1800's, some moved to Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Texas. Later descendants also lived in Brazil, Canada, and in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Vermont, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.
