The card files index these churches: St. Mary's Church at 39th and Locust St., St. Philip's Church at Vine below 8th St., St. Philip's Chapel at an unknown location, Trinity Church at 42nd and Baltimore Ave., Church of the Intercessor (now Church of the Advocate) at 18th and Diamond St.
Description
"The file is color coded, i.e. each church is represented by a different color card. Because the various card colors will not be distinguishable on microfilm there will be no way of determining in which church the event is recorded. It will be necessary to check the records of each of the above churches. Records of all the above named churches are in the collection of the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania".
