Description
The early Finton ancestor, James Finton (ca. 1730-1816), was born in Tyrone Co., Ireland, and died in Buffalo Twp., Perry Co., Pa. He was married to Jane Haverstock (ca. 1738-1852). She died in Logan Co., Ohio. Both came to America in 1768 from Tyrone County, Ireland with son William (1764-1848) and daughter, Margaret (d. 1840). Family members live in Ohio, Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
