Numbering and date designations are irregular. Some volume and issue designations are used more than once for different issues. Vol. 6, no. 1 (Jan 1998) was misnumbered as v. 5, no. 1 (Jan 1998), which was previously assigned to (Jan 1997) issue; v. 6, no. 2 (June 1998) was misnumberd as v. 5, no. 2 (June 1998); v. 7, no. 1 (Jan 1999) was misnumbered as v. 5, no. 2 (June 1998); v. 7, no. 2 (June 1999) was misnumberd as v. 6, no. 2 (June 1999); v. 8, no. 1 (Jan 2000) was misnumbered as v. 7, no. 1 (Jan 2000); v. 8, no. 2 (June 2000) was misnumbered as v. 7, no. 2 (June 2000); and v. 9, no. 1 (Jan 2001) was misnumbered as v. 7, no. 1 (Jan 2001).

Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Farr (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from Bedfordshire, Norfolk, and other parts of England, and from France (especially Callais), Holland, Ireland, and Scotland. Early ancestors settled in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Virginia in the 1600s. Some were Quakers; and some belonged to the Congregational Church. In the 1700s, some settled in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Main focus is on (but not limited to) the ancestors, descendants, and relatives of Winslow Farr, Sr. (1794-1865), the son of Asahel Farr and Lydia Snow. In 1816, Winslow married Olive Hovey Freeman (1799-1893), the daughter of Elijah Freeman and Olive Hovey. The Farr and Freeman families came from New Hampshire. Winslow and Olive were married in Vermont. Their families settled Waterford, Vermont in 1800. Winslow and Olive joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and moved with the Latter-day Saint pioneers to Illinois, Missouri, and then to Utah. During the 1800s, some Farrs, Freemans, and their allied families lived in Canada, Mexico, and in Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, Ohio, and Utah. Later descendants also lived in Arizona, California, Idaho, Massachusetts, Mississippi, and elsewhere. Some may have American Indian bloodlines.
