Description
Peter-Paul Selig, son of Joannes Selig and Joanna Oesterle, was christened 29 June 1792 in Stein, Hohenzollern, Prussia. Peter married Johanna Geiger 30 Jan 1815. They had twelve children and many of their descendants live in Germany.
Description
Joachim Selig, brother of Peter-Paul Selig, was christened 29 Dec 1789 in Selig. He married Maria Magdalena Bummler, daughter of Johann Georg Bummler and Maria Anna Kirner, on 9 Jan 1821 in Stein, Germany. They had eight children. They immigrated to the United States in 1845 and settled in Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana. Their descendants have lived in Indiana, Ohio, Alaska, Texas, Pennsylvania, and other areas throughout the United States.
