Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Johannes (John) Walter and August Affeld. Johannes was born 28 May 1812 in Wintzenbach, France and died 11 Oct 1890 in Union Township, Ohio. He married Barbara Moke 19 May 1842 in Wintzenbach, France. She was born 25 Dec 1822 and died 4 Feb 1886 in Union Township, Ohio. They immigrated to the United States in 1853. They were the parents of five children. Descendants lived in Ohio, Texas, Nebraska, Indiana, Missouri, Michigan, Iowa and elsewhere. August was born 1 Jul 1834 in Germany and died 8 Sep 1909 in Arlington, Ohio. He married Augusta H. Thom. She was born 23 Nov 1843 in Germany and died 16 Jul 1920 in Madison Township, Ohio. They were the parents of five children. Descendants lived mainly in Ohio.
Description
Ancestors include: Johannes Michel Walter (1765-1851) and Margarethe Mueller (1771-1840) -- Daniel Moog (1794-1848) and Susanne Mueller (ca. 1794-1830) -- Gottfried Affeldt (1804-1868) and Maria Elizabeth Pietzner (1800-1862) -- and others.
