Description
Nicholas Boogher emigrated from Germany and settled in Pennsylvania in 1727. His descendant, John Booher (1773-1860), was the son of Bartholomew Booher of Frederick County, Maryland. John and his wife, Elizabeth Crull (1772-1865), had eleven children, 1795-1817. Their first four children were born in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The family migrated to Montgomery County, Ohio, in 1803. John and Elizabeth Booher are buried in the Shearer graveyard, north of Dayton, Ohio. Locality names not given for descendants.
