Description
The search for Ronald Reagan's Irish ancestors led the author on a quest for his own family. Both lines come from the O'Briens, a Dalcassian tribe who came to Ireland about 500 B.C. Irish history is traced to furnish background for the ancient families of O'Regan, O'Brien, Hogan, MacMahon and Murphy, and the reasons some of them left Ireland. Included are photographs and maps of antiquities, both medieval and prehistoric, and more history than genealogy. .
