Description
Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Hardeman and McClure families in America, with focus on the ancestors of Ellanor Hardeman Howell, the daughter of Thomas Lon Hardeman and Flossie McClure. Thomas and Flossie married in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1925. Flossie's Scotch-Irish ancestors came to America ca. 1798. Thomas's English ancestors came ca. 1685; and his Bellefont ancestors came from France around the time of the Revolutionary War. Their early ancestors settled Maryland and Virginia. Later descendants also lived in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Texas, and elsewhere.
