Description
Johannes Schwarzwalder was born in Monchweiler, Germany in 1684 and immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1738. He eventually settled in Virginia and changed name to "Blackwelder." Descendants lived in North Carolina, Illinois, and elsewhere.
