Description
Jane Caroline Hicks migrated with her parents, Ransom Hicks and Emmoline "Emily" Harmon and grandfather, Council Harmon, from Watauga County into Madison County, North Carolina in 1875. She married Joseph Newton Gentry, November 14, 1879. They were parents to Nora, Emmie, Alfred Chancey, Allie May, Lillie Bertha Maud, Roy and Lalla Marvin Gentry. She died May 29, 1925.
