General Note
The young lady's remembrancer was the title on blank books designed to be filled in by the owner. This remembrancer was published in New York by J.C. Riker in 1833.
Description
Contains a photocopy of an original "Remembrancer" book with an "Appendix A" written by Howard B. Liley in 1994 which contains an explanation of the book and a transcription of its contents. This book contains handwritten genealogical information and poetry. The genealogy is for the Andrew Vance family of Missouri. Andrew Vance married Mary Rigdon, a sister to Sarah Rigdon (1803-1845). Sarah was the original owner of this Remembrancer book and then apparently Mary Rigdon Vance owned it. Dates listed cover 1831-1979.
