Description
Johann Schenck was born in Switzerland in 1845. Katharina Ziegler was his second wife and the mother of eight of his nine children. Katharina had a child from her second marriage to Paul Andries. After Johann's death in 1884 the family moved from Michigan to Montana where many of their descendants still reside. Information on many of their descendants, some of whom are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is given. Descendants also live in Idaho, California, Alaska, Washington, and elsewhere.
