Description
John Ball, a Quaker, was born in England and settled at Darby, Pennsylvania, in 1689. His son, Roger Ball (ca. 1672-1736) was born in Derbyshire, England, possibly at Darley. He married Mary Scothorne, in 1709 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. They had at least a son and three daughters, 1710-1715. Descendants of his son, John Ball (1710-ca. 1779), listed lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and elsewhere.
